Peppa is a Berkshire Pig. Not just a pig - She is a house pig! Berkshire Pigs are medium sized pigs - A fantastic beginner or small property pig. Pigs are actually very clean animals and are extremely intelligent. The Berkshire pig originated from the United Kingdom and is now considered a rare breed there. Exported to and loved in Japan the Berkshire produces excellent premium meat - with the Japanese name Kurobuta pork. Peppa is settling in well and her personality is starting to come out....
